Key Achievements

Since elected in 2019, I have:

  • Prioritised the delivery of private, public, and social housing. 
  • Campaigned for and helped establish a local policing forum. 
  • Changed our planning regulations to deliver new childcare facilities.
  • Delivered a night-time economy policy.
  • Advocated for safety and security by representing on two policing committees.
  • Backed the delivery of new three and four bedroom homes for downsizing and for families. 
  • Futureproofed council planning to ensure more breastfeeding-friendly public spaces.
  • Delivered two new secular funeral chapels for the county. 
  • Advocated to make it safer for women and girls to travel alone. 

More Homes

The housing crisis is the core issue facing our country and county. With your vote, I will continue working to:

  • Pro-actively support new housing plans, delivering new and affordable homes.
  • Enforce existing standards in construction and rental sectors.
  • Tax vacant sites and buildings, to encourage owners to use them.
  • Deliver more three and four bedroom homes for downsizing and for families.
  • Rezone suitable land for housing.

Safer Streets

Traffic is at a standstill. We need to make walking, cycling and public transport easier options for our community. With your vote, I will continue working to:

  • Deliver safer and quicker routes to work and school.
  • Reduce speed limits to calm and quieten our roads.
  • Install more pedestrian crossings.
  • Ensure our footpaths are clear and maintained.
  • Make it safe for women and girls to travel alone.

Environment

A Green councillor means a strong advocate for our natural environment and for real action on climate change. With your vote, I will continue working to:

  • Protect our green space and plant more trees.
  • Prosecute illegal dumpers using CCTV evidence under new legislation.
  • Protect our wildlife and biodiversity.
  • Prioritise extra resources for more road sweeping.
  • Act locally to reduce our county’s carbon emissions.

Community and Culture

I believe that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown should be a fun place to live. With your vote, I will continue working to:

  • Support artists.
  • Protect and grow our public amenities.
  • Improve our night-time economy offering.
  • Deliver better sports infrastructure for all ages and genders.
  • Reduce antisocial behaviour.

Progressive planning

Our county should be planned with all members of the community in mind. With your vote, I will continue working to:
