First elected to the Council in 2019, I became Leas Cathaoirleach (Deputy Mayor) in June 2023 and leader of the Green Party group in November 2023.
I’m from Clonskeagh. I graduated with a BA (Politics and Italian) from University College Dublin and MSc (Nationalism Studies) from the University of Edinburgh.
After graduating I spent over a decade working in communications for higher education and science across the public and private sectors. I worked as a ministerial advisor and parliamentary assistant to Minister of State, Ossian Smyth, TD.
I have long fought for climate action and have advocated for an evidence-based approach to policymaking. I campaigned for equality as the co-founder and convenor of the ‘Scientists for Yes’ platform and as a consultant in the national campaign to repeal the 8th Amendment.
I’m a new mum-of-four children. I believe that we can plan our communities with everyone in mind.
